We work with a customer focus in a goal- and project-oriented organization.\n\n\nWe are now seeking a Business Area Manager for our newly launched Construction business area.\n\n\nAbout the Role\nThe business area plays a key role in Vattenfall Services' operations and is responsible for developing technical solutions and design documentation for our station projects. The operations consist of four departments with specialist expertise in construction and engineering, whose work forms the foundation for our station projects. As Business Area Manager Construction, you will have the opportunity to lead a national operation with approximately 60 employees and four department heads.\n\n\nWe offer you a varied leadership assignment in a central part of our operations. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area, including forecasts, cost budgets, and operational monitoring. Furthermore, you have overall responsibility for our technical networks and identify opportunities and solutions to the industry's resource and competency challenges. For us, collaboration is a success factor and together we secure Vattenfall Services' continued growth and development.\n\nRequirements\nSolid experience from the contracting and\/or energy industry \u2013 for example, you could have a background in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or industry\nExtensive experience in a leading position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results\nExperience in leading managers (meriting)\nCommunicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English\n\nTo be successful in this role, you are a coaching leader who drives results through collaboration in your own management team as well as in the organization at large. You have the ability to set direction and engage your employees through high participation. Your communication skills are very strong and as a leader, you are clear, attentive, and a trusted support for your employees.
