Here, you will become part of a curious, courageous and solution-focused organization where innovative thinking is encouraged and the child's best interests always come first.\n\n2 position(s).\n\nDUTIES\nWe are seeking an activation pedagogue at \u00c5bybergsskolan 1-9, with experience working with students who have intellectual disabilities (ID) and neuropsychiatric variations, as well as strong knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).\n\nAs a pedagogue, you will have the opportunity to work together with your team to plan and conduct teaching where collaboration, joy and professionalism characterize daily work \u2013 qualities that we believe you also contribute.\nYou work closely with students daily and provide support throughout their school day.\n\nTogether we create a learning environment that promotes positive communication. We use AAC daily, including sign language as support, to strengthen students' communication skills and their opportunities for positive academic and social development.\n\nThe school has access to a student wellness team that offers support and guidance from a special education teacher, specialist teacher, school counselor, speech-language pathologist and school psychologist.
