It is meaningful work that is of great importance to families.\n\nThe assignment includes individual support to family members, group activities, information, coordination, and development of family support according to the Social Services Act. The work is creative, independent, and flexible\u2014to meet the varying needs of this large group of family members. Your strong verbal communication enables you to convey messages clearly and attentively, which is key in your relationship-building work.\n\nThe assignment also includes strategic development work for family support, and you will collaborate with other actors within the municipality, schools, Region Uppsala, and civil society. In the strategic work, there are trainings and lectures for family members, the general public, and staff.\n\nYou will be offered professional supervision tailored for you as a Family Support Consultant once a month, and you have collegial support from your fellow Family Support Consultant and other Family Support Consultants in Uppsala County.\n\nFamily Support is a unit in transition, which means you need to be comfortable working independently and adapting to new circumstances.
