As a work supervisor with us, you will be responsible for leading smaller infrastructure projects.\nHere you will have the opportunity to make an impact, take initiative, and work both operatively and strategically with work supervision, production planning, and project monitoring.\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a technical interest, and wants to be part of important societal work where you can contribute to the city's future development.\nThe Environment and Community Development Administration, with over 100 employees, develops and manages the city's and countryside's infrastructure within urban planning, construction, traffic, operations, environment, and business \u2013 always with sustainability in focus.\nThe Traffic and Ground Division, one of nine divisions, has approximately 30 employees and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of streets, parks, nature reserves, and traffic systems.\nWork Responsibilities\nAs a work supervisor with us, you will have a key role.\nThe role includes:\nplanning, leading, and distributing work in smaller infrastructure projects, for example renovation of playgrounds and ground and restoration work after excavation\nwork preparation and distribution of tasks to skilled workers\nfollowing up on the quality of operations and external maintenance regarding functional descriptions, operating instructions, and maintenance plans\nmonitoring production through our GPS-based quality assurance system\nensuring that schedules, quality, and deliverables are met within the operation\ncoordinating subcontractors and ensuring that work proceeds according to plan.\n\nYou work closely with other functions in the site management, such as operations managers, operations engineers, and work supervisors within operations.\nOn-call duty may be included in the position.\nQualifications\nThe role requires:\nPost-secondary education in streets, landscaping, or construction\/infrastructure, or documented work experience in supervising ground\/infrastructure or landscaping and outdoor environment work\nGood ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing\nGood IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems\nDaily experience using a smartphone (iPhone), tablet, or computer for quality assurance and handling feedback from residents\nClass B driver's license for manual transmission\n\nPersonal Qualities\nWe are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and structured, with a good ability to plan and organize your work. Since the role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, you are a relationship-building person who enjoys collaboration.
