Individuals matched to VIA's activities come through employment consultants, who are responsible for individuals with LSS and SoL decisions, and through coaches at Jobbcentrum, Employment and Livelihood. These may be language-weak new Swedes, individuals with substance abuse issues, individuals with intellectual disabilities and various NPF diagnoses, mental health problems, long-term sick leave, etc.\nThis position is a project employment for two years.\nJob Responsibilities\nAs an occupational therapist, you work with assessing work capacity based on the individual's entire situation and increasing the participant's insight into their work prerequisites. You perform assessments, observations, activity and function evaluations, and document the process. You also work to identify assistive work devices that enable the participant to progress in work or studies. You will work with participants who are relevant within employment and livelihood.\nThe work includes:\nWorking closely with social workers, coaches, and supervisors around the participant\nStructured activity and work capacity assessments and identification of adaptation needs\nIdentifying needs for assistive work devices that help the participant toward work and studies\nDeveloping activities linked to assessing activity and work capacity\nDeveloping common approaches to increase participants' work capacity\nAssessing cognitive, physical, and mental prerequisites\nAssessing opportunities and obstacles in relation to labor market demands\nDocumentation and feedback to the individual and relevant parties\nInternal and external collaboration, for example with the Social Insurance Agency, the regional authority, the Public Employment Service, and adult education\n\nYour Profile\nDo you want to work with individuals far from the labor market and contribute to creating conditions for development, employment, and independence?\nIn our development according to the activity requirements reform, we see a need for your expertise as an occupational therapist.\nWe are looking for you as a licensed occupational therapist.
