Your main placement will be at R\u00e4ttvik Health Center, but you'll also work at Leksand Health Center.\n\nYou'll have an independent, varied role with the opportunity to influence both your position and the operations. Working alongside other professionals at the health centers, you'll contribute to providing close, secure, and cohesive care.\n\nThe position can be shaped to some extent based on operational needs, your experience, expertise, and interests. You'll have the opportunity to specialize in particular areas and help develop occupational therapy at both health centers.\n\nThere are opportunities for further training in areas covered by your work; such as hand rehabilitation and activities of daily living revision, etc. Your closest colleagues are physical therapists, but you'll have occupational therapy colleagues at other health centers and at Mora and Falun hospitals with whom you can exchange ideas.\n\nAbout Us\nThe health centers in R\u00e4ttvik and Leksand are currently in a development phase. We're developing a team-based approach based on patient needs and to provide employees with a better work environment. Occupational therapy expertise is needed in areas such as hand rehabilitation, mental health, pain, cognition, activity capacity, and memory assessment. You'll meet dedicated colleagues, broad expertise, and an open workplace culture where we help and learn from one another.\n\nOur current opening hours are 8 AM-5 PM on weekdays.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nYou'll work both independently and as part of a team. Work is distributed between R\u00e4ttvik and Leksand health centers based on patient and operational needs.\n\nResponsibilities include:\nHand rehabilitation\nMemory assessment and basic dementia evaluation\nAssessment and treatment of activity capacity and cognition\nActivities of daily living revision\u2014support with activity balance, structure, time, and energy\nGroup activities such as osteoarthritis, fall prevention, and activity balance\nTelephone consultation\nSome assistive device fitting\n\nQualifications\nRequirements\nLicense as an occupational therapist\nClass B driver's license\nStrong ability to document and communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written\n\nValued Experience:\nRegional Primary Care\nHand rehabilitation and\/or activities of daily living revision\nMemory assessment, cognitive evaluation, and interventions\nActivity capacity assessment\nInsurance medicine\nCosmic documentation system\n\nPersonal Qualities:\nYou're confident in your professional role, work independently, and value collaboration across professional boundaries.
