As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for the occupational therapy perspective in the team and provide support, advice, and education based on the patient's disability and how it affects daily life. Interventions can also be directed toward the patient's network and surrounding personnel.\n\nIn this role, you will assess needs and implement interventions that strengthen the patient's activity capacity and participation in daily life. Planning is conducted in close collaboration with the patient and their network. You work closely with colleagues within the operation and external partners, contributing your specific expertise. The work also includes assessment, prescription, and follow-up of assistive devices.\n\nInterventions can be provided individually or in groups, as well as digitally or physically. Together with physiotherapists and speech-language pathologists, you are also responsible for patient follow-up within the quality registers CPUP and MMCUP.
