In Region S\u00f6rmland, the AT physician is an important part of our operations, and we therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability when hiring. Our goal is that after your AT in S\u00f6rmland, you will have received solid clinical and theoretical training and be well-equipped for your future career. We maintain continuous dialogue with our AT physicians regarding the design of the training. As an AT physician, you will have an AT supervisor throughout your service period and the opportunity to engage in local AT councils.\r\n\r\nWe offer a 21-month AT program because we believe that longer, continuous placements within inpatient clinics allow you to learn more, become an independent and confident licensed physician. You have a very good language level, at least C1 (requirement for licensure according to the National Board of Health and Welfare).\r\n\r\nKnowledge\r\nYou are expected to be able to apply your practical and theoretical knowledge from medical school under supervision in clinical practice.\r\n\r\nPersonal Qualities and Competencies\r\nWe make a comprehensive assessment of your ability to work as an AT physician and to be an engaged colleague in our operations. New AT physicians also have the opportunity to meet other AT physicians, union representatives, study coordinators, AT supervisors, and management. The introduction week is held the week before the start of the 21-month clinical training.\r\nAt the beginning of each placement, you will undergo a well-planned and structured introduction, which includes both theoretical lectures and practical exercises.\r\n\r\nSupervision\r\nEach placement has a personal supervisor responsible for the AT physician's training.
