Renova is therefore, alongside its mission in waste management and recycling, a significant player in the region's energy supply.\n\nYou'll join the Electrical Maintenance Department, which consists of automation engineers, an instrumentation engineer, a team leader, and electricians. The role involves close collaboration with the operations organization, the project department, IT and security functions, as well as external suppliers and consultants. The culture is characterized by high technical expertise, short decision-making paths, and a shared commitment to developing the business forward.\n\nRole Description\n\nAs an Automation Engineer, you and your colleagues are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the control systems that keep the facility running 24\/7. The role is broad and varied with a focus on ABB 800xA, but also includes other control systems and technical platforms within the operation.\n\nThe work spans from server and network level in the OT environment all the way to field equipment, instruments, and frequency converters. You work both operationally and strategically to ensure high operational reliability, implement improvements, and contribute to technical projects.
