This is a role where you will both collaborate with other functions within the waste management unit and several other parts of the municipality, while at the same time being the municipality's face toward both citizens and contracted entrepreneurs.\n\nJob Description\nThe municipality is responsible for providing the opportunity for citizens to dispose of waste fractions such as bulky waste and hazardous waste, and for ensuring that received waste is recycled or treated correctly. Collection is primarily done via the municipality's recycling centers and via a mobile recycling center that stops at a large number of archipelago islands. When visiting one of the municipality's waste facilities, citizens should be offered excellent customer service and guidance on how to sort different types of waste correctly. At the same time, our operations contractors should be given the right conditions to perform their work.\n\nMore specifically, you will have the following responsibilities for the operations:\nDirect the operations in the right direction, develop service deliveries and be the main contact for all stakeholders in the operations. In practice, this could involve improving sorting, strengthening customer service or improving the visit experience at the facilities through other changes.\nConduct active continuous improvement work, for example by leading training for operations personnel, evaluating investment needs and developing information materials and work procedures.
