Our areas of responsibility range from long-term community planning, culture, recreation, and business matters to operation and development of the municipality's water and wastewater systems, waste management, and property.\r\n\r\n1 position(s).\r\n\r\nJOB DUTIES\r\nOur technical department consists of operations in sanitation, water\/wastewater, projects and investment, and property. We are now seeking an engineer specializing in sanitation. The sanitation unit currently consists of four sanitation engineers, three sanitation case officers, and a unit manager.\n\nWe're looking for someone driven to contribute to developing the future of waste management. You will work together in an efficient, pleasant, and relaxed team on tasks including:\n\n\t\u2022 Waste prevention measures\n\t\u2022 Request matters, permit issues, and dialogue with permit authorities\n\t\u2022 Sanitation fees\n\t\u2022 Assist the manager in preparing project and budget materials\n\t\u2022 Assist in procurement, contract matters, and financial investigations\n\t\u2022 Administrative and practical tasks within the sanitation department's mission\n\t\u2022 Information, communication, presentations, and customer contacts\n\nYou will represent \u00c5re Municipality both internally and externally and are expected to actively contribute to positive development of the municipality's sanitation services and brand.\r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\n\t\u2022 We're looking for someone with a strong interest in waste management and environmental issues\n\t\u2022 You have an engineering degree or similar education in technology, environment, or civil engineering\n\t\u2022 It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in the sanitation field\n\t\u2022 It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of and have worked with GIS\n\t\u2022 Having a driver's license is also a plus\n\t\u2022 Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written\n\nYou have good collaboration skills demonstrated through an unpretentious work style.
