We offer a broad range of services for children, youth, and adults. Your work tasks include staffing the information desk, providing reading guidance, working in digital environments, and handling book displays and other media management. You work closely with your colleagues and together you develop library services.\n\nAs an employee, you have different focus areas, such as program activities, children and youth, or book acquisitions. The focus area for this position involves having a special focus on and a coordinating role for services for children and youth.\n\nWe want to strengthen our work with this target group and we are looking for you with the right experience and good ideas to further develop the services. You will join an engaged and competent work team characterized by work enjoyment, where you work broadly with multiple age groups rather than with a specific age group.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for you who have:\n\n\u2022 A degree in Library and Information Science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent\n\u2022 Several years of documented experience working with children and\/or youth, preferably in a library setting\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written\n\u2022 Experience conducting library tours, book talks, and programs for youth and children\n\nIt is advantageous if you have good knowledge of children's and young adult literature.\n\nWe are looking for someone who is confident and stable and enjoys a relationship-building role.
