You are often involved in projects through multiple phases \u2013 from planning and study design to analysis, interpretation and publication. The work involves both providing advice and conducting statistical analyses, depending on the projects' needs. The work takes place in a team, where you together with colleagues contribute to comprehensive support in planning and conducting clinical studies.\nYou will among other things:\nContribute to planning and design of research studies\nProvide advice on statistical methods and analysis strategies\nInterpret and communicate results from statistical analyses\nParticipate in training and seminars on statistics and study design\nSupport work with data from for example quality registers and other health data\nContribute to developing the overall statistical support in clinical studies\nWork Group\n\nAt the unit for clinical research support, 17 employees work with specialist expertise in various areas of clinical research and research support. The work is carried out in close collaboration, both within the unit and with other functions within Region \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland and Link\u00f6ping University.\nThe team has expertise in, among other things, study design, regulatory advice, monitoring, data management, and budget and agreements related to clinical studies. Together this creates the conditions for comprehensive support to researchers throughout the research process.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for you with education in biostatistics, statistics, mathematical statistics or equivalent field. You have good knowledge of programming and experience with statistical software, for example SPSS, R, Stata or similar. Experience with clinical studies, such as clinical trials, epidemiological studies, observational studies and register-based research, is meritorious.\nThe work often takes place in national and international contexts, which means you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.\nFor you to thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important.
