Welcome to apply for a job with us!\n \nCombined with employment as a specialist physician at Region \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland.\nYour responsibilities\nClinical physiology is based on knowledge of organ and body functions and constitutes an important link of knowledge between preclinical technical and molecular-based knowledge and clinical treatment-oriented knowledge, both in terms of developing and reviewing methods from a scientific perspective and often forms a bridge in research between preclinical and clinical work. Clinical physiologists' fundamental physiological competence is used in basic and advanced education.\nYou will work within both education and research as well as associated administrative work. You will follow developments within your subject area and societal developments that are relevant to the work.\nAs an associate professor, you are active within the research community, participate in departmental activities such as seminars and workshops, participate in research projects, communicate results through scientific publications, and contribute to attracting external research funding. In this position, you will particularly work within the areas of work physiology and ergospirometry in close collaboration with both clinical and technical researchers.\nTeaching duties are at basic and advanced levels in Swedish and English as well as supervising students in various programs within the medical faculty. You will primarily conduct teaching in clinical physiology, which includes utilizing and conveying your knowledge of multiple examination methods and organ systems. The work includes administrative tasks such as course design, course responsibility, and examination.\nThe medical faculty applies student-centered teaching methods.\nYou actively contribute to the university's development work.
