Here there are approximately 1,200 students distributed across grades f-9, and just under 200 employees. In the upper secondary section, there are approximately 400 students and 30 employees work there. Parallel to the ongoing and vibrant activities at the municipality's largest school, planning of the new Runby is underway. New Runby is developing as the current large school unit will eventually become two schools located reasonably close to each other.\n\nAbout the Position\nAs Assistant Principal at Runby School, you will be part of the school's leadership team, which consists of a Principal, four Assistant Principals, and an Administrative Director. Together you will lead and develop the operations with student learning and the school's results in focus.\n\nThe municipal school organization has three prioritized focus areas:\n- Learning for Sustainable Development\n- Improved School Results\n- Language and Knowledge Development Work Methods\n\nTogether with others in school leadership, you are responsible for driving work within these areas forward. Development work takes place in close collaboration with the school's employees and with support from the Education Office.\n\nAn important part of the assignment is to continue developing the school's student health work. Student health should be an integrated part of the school's core mission and contribute to creating good and sustainable conditions for students' learning, development, and goal achievement.
