During the introductory period via Satellite Group you will develop the skills required to quickly become confident and self-assured in the role of signal technician.\nThe initiative is a close collaboration between Professionals Nord and BDX Rail. The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance on platforms and track areas. The position involves outdoor work and you work primarily daytime on weekdays, but there is also the possibility of working shifts 7\/7. Work at nights and weekends occurs, and you have on-call duty according to a rotating schedule. Because the work is carried out over a larger geographical area, you need to be comfortable driving a car for work as some days can involve many miles behind the wheel.\nAs a signal technician you are responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the railway's signal systems. You ensure that signals, switches and other safety systems function correctly to guarantee safe and efficient train movements. The role also includes working with system integration, following safety regulations and documenting completed work.
