The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance on platforms and track areas. The position involves outdoor work and you'll primarily work day shifts on weekdays, but the opportunity to work 7\/7 shifts is also available. Night work and weekend work occur, and you have standby according to a rotating schedule. Since the work is performed over a larger geographic area, you need to be comfortable driving a car as part of your work, as some days may involve many miles behind the wheel.\n\nAs a signal technician, you're responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the railway's signal systems. You ensure that signals, switches, and other safety systems function correctly to guarantee safe and efficient train movements. The role also includes working with system integration, following safety regulations, and documenting completed work.
