You'll meet children and young people in supportive conversations, while also working to strengthen children's rights through collaboration, education, and outreach initiatives in the region.\nWe're now seeking a social worker for our Link\u00f6ping office who wants to combine direct support to children and families with outreach regional development work.\nAbout the Regional Division\nThis position is part of Bris' regional division with colleagues in Link\u00f6ping, Stockholm, G\u00f6teborg, Malm\u00f6, Ume\u00e5, and Lule\u00e5. Together, we work to ensure more children have their rights fulfilled and to strengthen adults around children.\nYou'll be based at our Link\u00f6ping office and, in addition to direct support for children, will have a special focus on developing and strengthening Bris' presence in the East region. You'll do this by working closely with Bris regional representatives in collaboration with key stakeholders and Bris networks and their network meetings.\nAbout the Position\nThe role combines direct support to children with a regional and strategic mandate.\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide support to children and young people through Bris' reception.\nWhen needed, assist the child in existing or new contacts with authorities.\nGive lectures and train working professionals.\nBuild strategic collaborations with service professionals, civil society, and politicians to spread knowledge about children's living conditions, children's rights, and Bris' activities.\nPlan and implement outreach activities, such as Bris network meetings, that strengthen Bris' presence in the region.\n\n\n\nThe work involves travel within the region as well as some evening and weekend shifts. Your work will be implemented and followed up based on activity plans, key metrics, and individual goals. You have regular check-ins and report to the regional manager.\nWho Are You?\nYou're comfortable meeting with children and families and want to work in a supportive capacity, while also thriving in settings where you represent an organization, build relationships, and drive development work forward. You have a natural ability to build trust, collaborate, and communicate a message.\nThe role is independent, which requires you to have strong drive and prioritization skills.
