With us, you will have an important role in creating a sustainable and well-planned living environment while providing professional service to residents and businesses.\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a building permit processor, you are responsible for handling building permit applications, pre-decisions, and other matters according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL). The work involves:\nReviewing and assessing cases based on legislation, detailed and comprehensive plans, and municipal guidelines.\nMaking decisions or preparing decision documents in a legally secure and efficient manner.\nProviding advice and guidance to private individuals, companies, and entrepreneurs.\nCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth process.\nContributing to the development of procedures, digital methods, and the municipality's work with planning and building issues.\nConducting site visits and inspections when needed.\n\nYou work independently with your own cases while being part of an engaged team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of daily work.\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone with:\nPost-secondary education in urban planning, law, building technology, building permit processing, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.\nExperience working as a building permit processor.\nGood knowledge of PBL, PBF, BBR, and detailed and comprehensive planning.\nGood digital skills and interest in developing digital working methods.\nClass B driver's license.\nGood ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.\n\nPersonal Qualities\nTo succeed in this role, you are structured, thorough, and confident in making decisions.
