The team works on the structural crash performance of current and future vehicles, covering both low-speed and high-speed impact scenarios.\nAbout the assignment\nYour main responsibility will be advanced finite element simulation for crash safety development. You'll develop and maintain virtual CAE crash models, run simulations, analyze results and compare them with physical test data.\nYou'll also support the development of front structure solutions for high-speed crash load cases. Your work will cover model setup, simulation analysis, countermeasure definition and presenting results to engineering stakeholders.\nYour work will contribute to:\nMeeting legal crash safety requirements\nAchieving NCAP safety ratings\nSupporting internal safety standards\nDeveloping front structure solutions for high-speed crash scenarios\nImproving the correlation between simulation and physical testing\n\nWhat you bring\nMSc in Engineering or a similar technical discipline\nAt least 5 years of hands-on CAE crash experience within an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier\nStrong experience with LS-DYNA, ANSA and MetaPost\nExperience with front structure development for high-speed crash load cases\nA structured and methodical way of working\nThe ability to communicate technical results clearly to cross-functional teams\nA strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently\n\nExperience with the client's product development process is an advantage.
