Together, you will provide economic perspectives in the National Board's analytical work and produce analyses and decision-making support on, for example, resource use, costs, effects and priorities in healthcare, dental care and social services.\nIn the role, you will be part of the Analysis Department's management team and work closely with the department head and other unit heads. An important part of your assignment is to contribute to the development of the department's operations in line with the National Board's mandate, goals and strategy.\nThe work involves close collaboration with other parts of the agency and with external actors. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to see the bigger picture, build good relationships and contribute to integrating health economics perspectives in the agency's work.\nResponsibility for operations, employees, budget and results are part of the role. You build trusting relationships and collaborate effectively with employees, colleagues and external actors.\nWe will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your leadership.\nWe are looking for someone who has\nacademic education in health economics, national economics or another area that the employer deems relevant\nmultiple years of experience planning, designing and conducting health economics, national economics or equivalent welfare economics analyses\nmultiple years of experience in management with personnel and budget responsibility\nexperience leading change and development work with good results.\n\nIt is advantageous if you have\na doctoral degree in health economics, national economics or equivalent field\nexperience with economic analyses in healthcare, social services or dental care\nexperience with register studies, microdata analyses or equivalent quantitative analysis methods\nexperience with cost-effectiveness analyses and development of health economics models\nexperience with economic impact assessments\nexperience working within a government agency.\n\nGood to know\nThe position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. The position is based at V\u00e4sterbroplan in Stockholm, but in spring 2027 we are relocating to Solna strand. You have flexible working hours and arrange them in consultation with your manager.
