Through long-term infrastructure solutions, we contribute to economic growth, improved living conditions, and sustainable societal development in the markets where we operate.\nWe are now seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the African Market to lead and strengthen our operations across multiple countries on the African continent.\nThis is a key executive role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, project execution, business growth, and organizational performance while supporting our strategic ambitions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Scandian's operations across African markets.\nDevelop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.\nEnsure successful execution and delivery of projects, contracts, and customer commitments.\nManage and support managers, project teams, and operational staff.\nMonitor budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs.\nStrengthen relationships with customers, partners, government stakeholders, and suppliers.\nEnsure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.\nSupport business development activities and contribute to market expansion opportunities.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Economics, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in operations management.\nProven experience managing operations across African countries.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure, utilities, development projects, construction, or related sectors.\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.\nExperience working with international organizations, governmental agencies, or development finance institutions is considered a strong advantage.\nFluency in English is required.
