Your role is to ensure that the organization has accurate, reliable, and accessible information about our configuration objects, so that various stakeholders can execute their processes effectively. You'll work closely with colleagues in the business and IT to develop a modern, stable, and user-friendly platform that follows best practices and supports our long-term goals.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nResponsibility for defining the scope and purpose of the SACM process and CMDB tool.\nCreate, maintain, and further develop documentation for the SACM process and CMDB.\nDevelop and maintain the CMDB's data model, including classes, relationships, forms, fields, and rules.\nEnsure measurability by defining and monitoring relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).\nWork on automating the lifecycles of configuration items.\nConvene and own the agenda for forums with CMDB\/SACM stakeholders.\nCollaborate and communicate with other stakeholders, such as business analysts, to ensure that the CMDB contains the right information and that interfaces for consuming this information are clear and known.\nPrepare documentation and training materials for the CMDB and related processes.\nSupport and guide operational Configuration Managers in daily work.\nOwn policies, models, and procedures related to the CMDB and the process for monitoring and acting on KPIs.\n\n\nThe following will make you successful in this role:\n\nSeveral years of experience (approximately 4\u20135 years) working with ServiceNow and its data model.\nDeep knowledge of ServiceNow as well as service assurance and configuration management processes, including CMDB.\nRelevant certifications in ServiceNow and SACM\/CMDB.\nExperience taking ownership of processes and tools within configuration management.\nAbility to define, monitor, and act on key performance indicators related to the process and platform.\n\n\nIt's also meritorious if you have:\n\nExperience with development in ServiceNow and a good understanding of the platform's features and capabilities.\nDocumented ability to customize, improve, and optimize solutions in ServiceNow.\nHabit of staying updated on new features and best practices within ServiceNow.\n\n\nAs a person, you are communicative, pedagogical, and comfortable explaining complex relationships clearly to different audiences.
