The municipality had 135,273 residents and the municipal group employed 13,407 employees.\nThe accounting unit is part of the Finance and Governance department within the Office of the City Manager, which is the municipal executive board's administration. Staff within the accounting unit work with municipality-wide processes for accounting and reporting. This includes preparing the municipality's interim report and annual report, including the municipal group's consolidated financial statements. Much of the work takes place in close collaboration with the budget unit. Within the Finance and Governance department, there are also units for coordination and governance, finance, and procurement and purchasing. The department comprises approximately 50 employees led by a director of finance and five process managers.\nOur task is to support the municipal leadership (including the municipal executive board and municipal council) with relevant and adequate decision-making materials within the financial area.
