We welcome your application!\n\nThe Role of Chief Information Security Officer\nAs Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead the development of Region J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping County's cybersecurity capabilities based on operational needs, threat landscape, risks, and regulatory requirements. You identify necessary capabilities, translate risks and requirements into priorities and cybersecurity requirements, and drive the necessary change. You monitor that processes and measures work and deliver the intended effect.\n\nThe role includes strategically leading and developing the region's cybersecurity and preparedness by setting direction, goals, and long-term plans. You are responsible for strengthening the ability to prevent, detect, manage, and recover from cyber incidents, as well as developing work on cyber risks, vulnerabilities, supplier and third-party risks, security monitoring, continuity, and cyber resilience. You monitor the cyber threat landscape, translate changes into priorities, and report on the region's cybersecurity capabilities, risks, and development needs.\n\nYou work closely with IT, the Chief Information Security Officer, operations, and other security functions to create cohesive security capabilities. Since implementation of measures often occurs in other parts of the organization, your mandate is to lead, set requirements, coordinate, and monitor cybersecurity work at the regional level. You report to the IT Director and are part of the IT Center's management group.\n\nThis is a permanent full-time position.
