We combine scientifically grounded methods with practical application in the public sector, business, and civil society, contributing to strengthening Sweden's ability to meet complex societal threats.\n\nAbout the Position\nThe role of cybersecurity expert at RISE CSDI has a clear dual focus. On one hand, you contribute to raising the collective cybersecurity capability within your immediate team \u2013 by sharing knowledge, introducing new tools and methods, and helping the organization stay at the forefront. On the other hand, you work directly with our partners and customers \u2013 authorities, municipalities, and organizations in the total defense ecosystem \u2013 to help them understand and manage their cybersecurity challenges.\n\nYou are equally comfortable with deep technical dives as you are explaining threat landscapes and risks to an executive group without IT background. You combine deep technical understanding with a clear ability to communicate \u2013 you are equally at home in a technical forum as in front of a board or municipal leadership.\n\nRequirements:\n\n\u2022 Documented experience in cybersecurity work within risk management, vulnerability analysis, incident handling, or security architecture\n\n\u2022 Ability to explain technical security issues in an understandable way to audiences without technical background\n\n\u2022 Curiosity and active interest in new technology, particularly AI and automation within the security field\n\n\u2022 Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain a holistic perspective in complex collaboration environments\n\n\u2022 Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken\n\nMerits:\n\n\u2022 Experience working with or advising authorities, municipalities, or other public sector organizations on cybersecurity matters\n\n\u2022 Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, or MSB regulations\n\n\u2022 Experience with cybersecurity in total defense context, critical infrastructure, or security-classified environments\n\n\u2022 Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent\n\n\u2022 Experience with SOC work, threat intelligence, or security automation (SOAR)\n\nPersonal Qualities:\nYou are someone who is driven by making security understandable \u2013 not just technically robust.
