You will report to Johan T\u00f6rnqvist, Demand Planning Manager.\nAbout the role:\nAs a Demand Planner within Global Aftermarket Operations, you will work in a dynamic global environment and cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, product\/part management, projects, quality, and supply. Aftermarket plays a vital role in our future ambitions and is a key area of strategic investment. By developing services, spare parts, and customer-focused solutions, we create value long after the initial sale, helping customers get the most out of their products throughout their entire lifecycle.\nOur demand planning is based on system-generated, statistically data-driven forecasts combined with market and product trends that need to be collected from various stakeholders such as sales, product management, quality, projects, etc. This means that collaboration and analytics skills are key. Our forecasting is also exception-based driven, meaning the planning system generates alerts on a daily, weekly, and monthly frequency for significant deviations between actual demand and forecasts.\nFurther key responsibilities:\nResponsible for generating global forecasts at the article level for accessories and parts with a 24-month rolling horizon and with high forecast accuracy.\nConfigure the system to provide the best statistical forecasts.\nGather required market and product trends and information from different stakeholders such as Sales, Product\/Part Management, Projects, Quality department, etc. to ensure top-level forecast accuracy.\nCreating long-term relationships and cooperation with international colleagues within Husqvarna Group.\nInvestigate forecast exceptions and determine appropriate actions.\nEnsure accurate reporting, monitor and analyze KPIs, and take action to improve performance.\nGenerate and develop reports to analyze and share demand trends with different stakeholders, along with reporting and analysis of data for preparing business decisions.\nLead global cross-functional meetings.\nActively contribute to and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, streamline processes, and increase efficiency within the demand planning process and planning systems.\n\nYour skills and background:\nBachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.\nExperience in supply chain, forecasting processes, and statistical modeling.\nAdvanced skills in Excel and excellent presentation and communication skills.\nFluent in English, both in speaking and writing.\nPrevious experience with demand planning from a global company and advanced global demand planning systems, e.g. Logility, as well as experience from aftermarket is highly advantageous.\nPrevious experience, knowledge, and general curiosity about AI is advantageous.\n\nLocation:\nThis position will be placed in Huskvarna, Sweden. We believe the best ideas happen when we're connected.
