Approximately half your time will be spent in the field working with production planning, operations and process optimization, and development of areas such as sorting facilities, paper recycling, crushing, and fuel management.\n\nYou'll drive internal projects and work with technical development, strategic procurement, and purchasing of machinery and equipment. Another important part of the role is developing our methods and waste flows so we use resources as efficiently as possible. You'll collaborate broadly across the organization with supervisors, managers, technical specialists, and machine operators.\n\nThe role combines operational work with a long-term perspective. You need to be able to see the bigger picture in waste flows, identify improvement opportunities, and drive solutions that develop both operations and economics.\n\nYou don't need to know the waste industry when you start.
