Bio-CCS is a technology that captures biogenic carbon dioxide before it reaches the atmosphere, where it is then permanently stored underground, creating negative emissions because the carbon dioxide is separated from the biogenic cycle. Permanent negative emissions are the tool that can be used to counteract emissions that are difficult or impossible to eliminate. It is a necessary piece of the puzzle to achieve climate goals and net-zero emissions. As an operations engineer for our BECCS project, you will have a key role in the commissioning organization. You will enter the project early and be part of building structures, developing working methods, and creating the documentation that will be crucial for the project to succeed. As commissioning approaches, you will work closely with the production team and other parts of the organization to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-coordinated startup. Your contribution will not only make the BECCS project successful \u2013 the knowledge and experience you build here will also be valuable for both you and Stockholm Exergi in future projects. For most of the project duration, you will work day shift. As the facility approaches startup, the role transitions to shift work, where you also take on responsibility as an operator.
