Here you will meet a student body that reflects society's diversity and a school that continues to develop forward.\nResponsibilities\nAs Assistant Principal, you are responsible for leadership and development of the adapted elementary school and its short-term supervision. You have delegated responsibility for operations, staff, and students, and you work to create the best conditions for student learning, development, and well-being.\nIn this role, you are also responsible for work with students in need of special support within both the adapted elementary school and the elementary school. Through your special education and behavioral analysis expertise, you contribute to developing the school's inclusive learning environments and strengthen the operation's ability to meet students' diverse needs.\nYou drive systematic quality work with a focus on developing, monitoring, and improving the operations. Together with the school's Assistant Principal for the elementary school, three team leaders, and a representative from student health services, you are part of the school's leadership team led by the Principal.\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone with experience in school leadership within adapted elementary school and special education training. It is an advantage if you have started or completed the state principal training program.\nWe would like to see that you have experience working with students with various neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF). Experience and training in behavioral analysis is also considered an advantage.\nTo succeed, we also see that you have:\nGood understanding of intellectual disability (IF) and the pedagogical consequences that various disabilities can have.\nExperience in student health services and in collaborating around students in need of special support.\nExperience in analyzing, developing, and adapting learning environments based on students' individual needs.\nExperience in preventing and managing problem-causing behaviors through structured, evidence-based, and pedagogical approaches.\n\nAs a person, you are confident, clear, and structured.
