The role offers the opportunity to influence technical solutions and contribute to the development of products used in healthcare.\nThe Role\nAs an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design and development of electrical hardware for new products as well as improvements to existing products.\nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams, development partners, manufacturing, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical designs meet technical, quality and regulatory requirements.\nYou will also have the opportunity to investigate new technologies and propose innovative technical solutions that address customer and product needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and design electrical and electronic hardware for new and existing medical products.\nParticipate in the complete product development lifecycle, including:\nConcept development\nRequirements and specifications\nSystem and hardware architecture\nComponent selection\nCircuit design\nPrototyping\nTesting and verification\nRisk analysis\nManufacturing transfer\nService and product support\nPlan, coordinate and execute electrical hardware development activities within projects and sub-projects.\nEnsure appropriate design controls and documentation according to requirements.\nParticipate in technical reviews and contribute to engineering decisions.\nCoordinate technical activities with development and manufacturing partners.\nDesign and develop robust test infrastructure to reduce dependency on hardware availability.\nInvestigate defects, deviations and technical issues in products and designs.\nSupport regulatory and quality activities and ensure requirements are properly addressed and closed.\nContribute to continuous improvement of products, processes and development methods.\nWork closely with production, technical support, suppliers and sub-suppliers.\nInvestigate and evaluate new technologies and technical solutions.\n\nTechnical Areas\nWe are particularly interested in engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:\nAnalog electronics and signal conditioning\nA\/D and D\/A conversion\nDigital electronics and digital design\nPower electronics and power systems\nRF design\nFPGA and programmable logic \/ CPLD\nEMC and electromagnetic compatibility\nHardware testing and verification\n\nYou do not need to be an expert in every area.
