Join us in accelerating the transition to a sustainable society.\n\nJob Description\nOur Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation department at AFRY currently consists of a team of electrical, instrumentation, and automation engineers located in Norrk\u00f6ping and Link\u00f6ping. We work with everything from design and engineering to commissioning and technical support within process and manufacturing industries, energy, and other industrial sectors. We are part of Pulp & Paper Sweden and deliver both project and professional services assignments to a broad customer base in the region.\nAs an electrical power design engineer with us, you will work on electrical engineering assignments primarily in the Industry and Energy segments. The assignments vary in size and scope, ranging from feasibility studies and preliminary design to new construction and renovation projects. Work is conducted both in-house and at the customer site.\n\nExamples of Work Tasks\n\u2022 Electrical power and design engineering\n\u2022 Analysis and technical investigations\n\u2022 Short-circuit calculations and cable dimensioning\n\u2022 Selectivity plans\n\u2022 Circuit and connection diagrams, layouts, cable lists, and connection tables\n\u2022 Equipment selection and technical specifications\n\u2022 Participation in testing, commissioning, and startup\n\nThe team consists of knowledgeable and engaged colleagues with a good mix of junior and senior experience. You have access to support from experienced engineers and specialists in instrumentation, electrical, and control systems, as well as from other AFRY offices when needed.\nWe work primarily in project form and have close collaboration with other technical areas and geographies within AFRY. The combination of broad technical expertise and varied assignments gives you good opportunities for development; both in your current role and, in time, for example with specialization in instrumentation or greater responsibility in projects.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to follow projects all the way through; from concept and design to commissioning and final inspection.\n\nQualifications\nTo succeed in the role, we believe you thrive in a technically challenging environment where you can use your problem-solving abilities and work solution-oriented together with others.
