Your strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities enable you to work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.\n \n \nAbout the job\nAs Engineering Manager, you will lead and motivate a team of highly skilled design engineers, driving product development and product care for the PureBallast system.\n \nKey responsibilities:\n\nLead, inspire, and develop the engineering team in product development and product care projects.\n\n\nEnsure all new designs comply with applicable standards and regulations (IMO, USCG, Class, ISO, and internal requirements).\n\n\nProvide technical support and verification for new designs.\n\n\nSupport supply chain and purchasing activities.\n\n\nDrive and implement technical innovations.\n\n\nOversee resource planning, recruitment, and daily operations of the team.\n\n\nServe as a member of the R&D Management team.\n\n\n \nThis position is based in Flemingsberg, Stockholm and you can expect up to 15 days of travel annually.\n \nWhat you know\n\nUniversity degree in Engineering or a related field provides a solid foundation for understanding technical aspects of the role.\n\n\n5+ years of experience in leading teams of highly skilled specialists.\n\n\nExperience of product development processes.\n\n\nExperience from maritime industry is a merit.\n\n\nExperience of explosion proof design is a merit.\n\n\nFluent in Swedish and English is a requirement.\n\n\n \nWhat's in it for you?\nWe offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment, where you will have the possibility to impact on the maritime environment.
