With us, you will have the opportunity to lead change, think innovatively, and together with engaged employees and management colleagues shape the future of social services.\n \nWork Tasks\nAbout the Assignment\nAs a unit manager, you are responsible for:\n Economic assistance\nBudget and debt counseling\nAdult case management within substance abuse issues and mental health\nAssistance case management according to the Social Services Act\nLSS case management\n\nYou will lead a work group of approximately ten engaged employees and have responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and budget.\nThe assignment involves both ensuring legally sound authority operations and developing the service based on the new Social Services Act and future needs. We are therefore looking for a manager who dares to challenge established practices, sees opportunities in change, and inspires others to develop together.\n \nAn Assignment with Strong Development Focus\nPerstorp Municipality, like many others, faces extensive changes. The new Social Services Act, new work methods, and increased demands for collaboration place high demands on courageous and development-oriented leadership.\nAn important part of the assignment is therefore to develop collaboration with the Labor Market Unit, not least based on the new activity requirement, where close and active cooperation is essential for more residents to achieve self-sufficiency.\nYou are also expected to have close collaboration with our preventive unit, which offers services locally with a focus on early intervention. Together, we want to create a social service where residents receive the right support at the right time and where preventive work is a natural part of the service.
