The unit serves two target groups: associations and foundations, as well as excise taxes. Excise taxes are characterized by rapid change, with taxes being introduced, modified, or discontinued continuously. The unit participates in the entire chain from legislative proposals, implementation, case handling, control and information initiatives, to court proceedings. The unit also handles business taxation and operates the Swedish Tax Agency switchboard.\n\nYou will be part of the department's management team and report to the department manager. The unit has approximately 220 employees located in 9 cities. You will lead 11 section managers, and your location will be at one of our business taxation offices: Gothenburg, Ludvika, Mariestad, Malm\u00f6, Sundbyberg, Uppsala, V\u00e4stervik, V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, or \u00d6rebro.\n\nOur operations are in constant development and change. You must also live up to our employee policy.\n\nIn this role, you should:\n- have the ability to see the whole picture with a focus on customer value\n- have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission\n- have the ability to act consciously in daily work based on good self-insight\n- be able to handle and analyze information flows, see connections, set boundaries, and convey information\n- have the ability to communicate clearly and create an environment where we listen to each other\n\nYou should also have:\n- a university degree of 180 credits (120 credits) in economics or law\n- at least five years of current management experience in tax administration work\n\nGood to Know\nThe employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. At the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without any limit on the number of extensions.\n\nEmployment with us may involve placement in a security classification.
