The administration handles both authority functions and service operations.\nAbout the Position\nThe unit manager will be responsible for a residential unit consisting of two group homes. The unit's staffing is tailored to the residents' needs, and the work team consists of approximately 15-20 permanent support assistants and support pedagogues, plus several part-time staff. The unit works to provide support and services to people with various disabilities so they can become as independent as possible. The unit manager is responsible for staff, budget, and operations.\nThis includes:\nPlanning, leading, and developing operations based on structured methods and proven practices.\nCollaborating with staff and others to ensure a good work environment and a balanced budget.\nLeading change initiatives regarding quality and digitalization.\nPromoting and advocating for the support assistant profession to encourage more training in the field.\nSupporting colleagues regarding alternative communication aids to communicate with users based on their abilities.\n\nThe unit manager is part of the leadership team for the Care for Persons with Disabilities department. Everyone contributes to development and achieving our shared goals.\nThis is a permanent full-time position.\nWho Are You?\nWe are looking for someone with a 3-year higher education qualification relevant to the field (for example, pedagogy, social work, or behavioral science) and who has completed one or more courses in LSS with passing grades at the university level.\nYou have solid knowledge of both the LSS target group and LSS legislation, and have previously worked as a supervisor for at least one year within LSS operations. Furthermore, you have at least one year of management experience with staff, budget, and operational responsibility. Of course, you are computer-literate and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.\nGreat importance is placed on your personal qualities that enable you to create a good collaborative climate and inspire, motivate, and engage your colleagues.
