The new social services law places increased demands on early interventions, collaboration, and a preventative approach.\nAs an authority manager, you become a key person in the work of developing the operations. You create conditions for high quality in investigative work, develop effective and sustainable working methods, and ensure that the best interests of the child and the child's right to be heard permeate the entire operation, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.\nAn important part of the assignment is to continue developing foster care and create long-term sustainable solutions for placed children. The goal is that each child receives the right intervention based on their needs and, when compatible with the best interests of the child, is given the opportunity to be reunited with their guardians through a well-planned and secure homecoming.\nYou will also have an important role in developing work with the three-party parenthood model, where biological parents, foster families, and social services together create the best possible conditions for the child.
