Do you want to lead and develop social services work during a time of change?\nWe are now seeking a unit manager for the operations group within the Children and Families unit. With us you get the opportunity to combine close and clear leadership with operations development and collaboration \u2013 with the child's and family's best interests in focus.\nWe are in an exciting development phase where we together are transforming operations in line with the new Social Services Act, with increased focus on preventive work, accessibility, participation and collaboration.\nWe offer you a rewarding and meaningful job in an engaged organization with short decision-making paths and good opportunities to make an impact.\n\nThe Children and Families Unit\nThe Children and Families unit consists of several functional groups that work together to provide children, young people and families with the right support at the right time: intake, investigation, operations including foster care, family resource center and family law.\nThe unit also has an administrative officer, operations developer, specialist social workers and school social workers. You will be one of three unit managers and will work together with the operations manager and other colleagues in a joint management group.\nHere we believe that the whole becomes better when we lead together. You lead the operations group's work and create conditions for employees to carry out their duties with high quality and with the child's and family's needs in focus. The operations group consists of 11 employees.\nYou have personnel and work environment responsibility and are responsible for:\nleading, planning, following up and developing operations based on goals, assignments and plans\nconducting employee and salary conversations and overseeing the introduction of new employees\nleveraging employee expertise, commitment and development potential\ncreating structure, clarity and good conditions for employees in daily work\ndeveloping collaboration both within the organization and with external partners\nrepresenting the unit in networks, including in the regional foster care organization GFO\nrepresenting the board in court matters.\n\nYou will be an important part of the unit's management group.
