The office includes, among other things, the municipality's central support functions in HR, communication, and IT, which support operations throughout the municipality within their respective areas of expertise.\n\nThe Development and Project Management unit is a newly formed unit at the Municipal Administration Office, as of May 1, 2026. Currently, the unit has approximately ten employees. The unit's mission is partly to promote and create conditions for the municipality's development in digitalization based on the municipality's digital strategy, and partly to offer professional management and support in selected strategically important projects.\n\nRight now, the unit is leading the project to move to a new municipal building, which will take place during the winter of 2026\/2027. The unit is also responsible for establishing municipality-wide portfolio management, with the aim of creating conditions for appropriate prioritization and resource allocation from a long-term and strategic perspective.\n\nThe unit reports directly to the office manager of the Municipal Administration Office, with close collaboration with other units within the municipal administration as well as other offices.\n\nAbout the position\n\nThe unit manager is responsible for leading and developing the unit's work and creating good conditions for employees to contribute to the municipality's development.
