The role is part of our Nordic practice and can be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, working closely with colleagues and clients globally.\n \n \nYour key responsibilities \n \nAs a Manager in EY-Parthenon's dedicated People M&A practice, you will work with some of the leading HR and pension specialists advising and supporting corporate and private equity clients in transactions. You will support and guide our clients through a broad range of complex people matters across the entire deal cycle, including HR and pension due diligence, ensuring readiness for day one, and achieving synergies in post-merger integrations. Some of the key responsibilities include:\nPrepare due diligence reports on HR, including analysis of target company data to identify key people-related financial exposures in a due diligence context, such as workforce costs and future liabilities, retention risks among key employees, side-by-side benefits comparison, and assessment of incentives programs, among other things \nCollaborate with EY colleagues and client executives to address people-related issues in carve-outs, signing-to-closing and post-deal integration phases (e.g., HR operating model implementation, organizational design, union consultation strategies, compensation planning) to ensure seamless employee transitions\nSupport the evaluation, design, and development of retention strategies that align compensation, benefits and incentives for executives and key employees with overarching acquisition goals\nMentoring junior team members and fostering an inclusive, high-performance team culture\n\n \n \nSkills and attributes for success \n \nExcellent communication skills in English required, both verbal and written\n4-7 years of experience in transactions or strategy consulting\nQuantitative mindset with a focus on delivering excellent work in a fast-paced environment\nProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint\nStrong interest in the financial aspects of people\/HR topics, including compensation and benefits and\/or pensions\n\n \n \nIdeally, you'll also\n \nHave expertise in financial analysis of HR costs and liabilities from annual reports and internal financial statements \nExperience working with senior stakeholders on HR M&A programs\nPrevious M&A experience, ideally with a focus on people-related matters, e.g. Due Diligence, post-deal integration, compensation & benefits, organization design, competence strategy and fulfillment, change and\/or culture programs\nExperience in analyzing and assessing pension plans\n\n \n \nWhat we look for \n \nAn agile, business and growth-oriented mindset.
