We have extensive experience in foster care and a strong commitment to our foster families and the children and young people placed with them.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a family home consultant, you will primarily work with guiding and supporting foster families in their mission to receive children and young people in their homes.\n\nThe work is independent and involves great freedom to plan your workday. At the same time, we highly value collegial support. We have regular check-ins and supervision in the staff group and also meet in person for staff meetings and training days.\n\nPart of the position involves recruiting and assessing new foster families. We use the assessment method Nya K\u00e4lvesten. You will also participate in the basic training program Ett hem att v\u00e4xa i.\n\nConsilium also provides social consulting services to municipalities. Depending on the organization's needs and your expertise, BBIC assessments and parental support initiatives may be included in your work.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n- Regularly visiting foster homes\n- Guiding and supporting foster families\n- Responsibility for ongoing documentation and reporting\n- Maintaining contact and collaborating with social services, care providers, and other relevant actors\n- When needed, providing supportive interventions for placed children and young people\n- Recruiting and assessing new foster families\n- Participating in digital group supervision for our foster families\n- Participating in supervision and collegial check-ins in the staff group\n- Contributing to our systematic quality work\n- Staying updated on matters relevant to our field of work\n- Working in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, and our quality procedures\n- Being part of the organization's on-call service\n\nWho Are We Looking For?\n\nWe are looking for you - a social worker with experience working with children and\/or young people in foster care, either within social services or in private operations.\n\nYou enjoy building relationships and feel comfortable meeting with both foster families, placed individuals, social services, and other professional actors.\n\nSince the work involves significant freedom, you need to be comfortable taking independent responsibility and planning your own workday. At the same time, we are a small company where we help each other and where humility and collaboration are important.\n\nAs a person, we believe you are committed, thorough, and solution-focused.
