You are responsible for a number of family homes and are their most important professional support in everyday life: from recruitment and matching to ongoing supervision and follow-up. You work from your home and plan much of your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of daily work. Your introduction and training will initially take place at our office in Gothenburg, and you will return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins.\n\n\nAbout the Work Area:\nYour base is Karlstad, but assignments regularly occur in neighboring counties as well. During recruitment of new family homes, occasional travel within the entire region may occur.\n\n\nYou will, among other things:\nSupervise and support family homes in their assignments, including in complex situations\nConduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements\nCollaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders around the child\nDocument and report regularly to clients and to the team in Gothenburg\nRecruit, investigate, and match emergency care and family homes in the region\nParticipate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule\n\n\n\nWe Are Looking for You\nYou hold a degree in social work or another equivalent university degree in social work, with experience in social work, preferably with children and youth.
