Then we may have a position for you.\n\nAbout the Role and Your Responsibilities\nThe Family Counseling Service's mission is to help process relationship problems and conflicts through conversations, primarily in couple and family relationships. As a family counselor with us, you will mostly conduct conversations alone, but when needed, colleagues can conduct sessions together with couples\/families. The conversations have varying focus areas but are grounded in relational work, including topics such as repair, separation, communication, conflicts, family life, and intimate relationship and cohabitation matters. As a family counselor, you perform important preventive work in relation to individuals' mental health and children's living conditions. Central to the conversations is the perspective and needs of children, which is important to keep alive in conversations with adult couples. There are also some intergenerational conversations. There is also an opportunity to participate in our groups, \"We Two\" and \"Pleasure Course.\"\nWe collaborate with other Family Counseling Services in Sk\u00e5ne as well as nationally through organizations such as KFR, Municipalities' Family Counseling.\nSince two of our colleagues have chosen to move on to other positions, we are now seeking two new colleagues for the team. The positions are permanent and full-time.\n\nAbout You\nWe are looking for someone who has a social work degree or an equivalent degree as assessed by the employer, and has basic psychotherapy training (Step 1). Furthermore, you should have at least 3 years of experience in social treatment work with families or conversation-based treatment addressing relational issues. Experience working in family counseling or with couples\/families is meriting. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish; it is meriting if you can conduct professional treatment conversations in English and\/or another language. Additional meriting qualifications include further training in methods that strengthen the role, such as EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), sexology, intimate partner violence, psychiatry, or similar.\nAs a person, we want someone who is secure, stable, and relationship-building. The office is centrally located in Lund and organizationally belongs to the Employment and Social Services Administration in Lund. The team at the office consists of 9 full-time family counselor positions, currently filled by 10 family counselors. The team also includes a unit administrator and a unit manager.\n\nWe are part of the Employment and Social Services Administration where approximately 600 employees provide support to Lund residents who need social services. Together, we ensure that children and young people have the best possible upbringing. We take into account the whole family's situation and ensure that no one comes to harm.
