The role combines hands-on operational work with leadership responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to influence processes, ways of working, and the continued development of the finance function.\n\nThe position is based at the headquarters in Upplands V\u00e4sby and reports directly to the CFO.\n\nYour Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will be responsible for:\n\n\nResponsible for all accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and external reports\n\nEnsure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports and forecasts in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements\n\nServe as the primary internal expert on Swedish GAAP (K3), statutory reporting and local regulatory requirements.\n\nDevelop, structure and maintain accounting department procedures and internal controls\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning\n\nProvide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning\n\nManage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulators\n\nStay up to date on accounting standards, regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices\n\nLead and develop the accounting team and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth\n\nDrive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.\n\n\nQualifications\n\nWe believe you have:\n\n\nA university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field\n\nApproximately 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance\n\nExperience managing or leading an accounting function\n\nExtensive knowledge of K3 accounting standards, annual reporting, and Swedish regulatory frameworks\n\nDemonstrated experience preparing annual reports for Swedish legal entities\n\nExperience with group accounting and consolidation\n\nStrong systems proficiency and an interest in efficient processes\n\nExperience from an international organization is considered an advantage\n\nFluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken as communication and documentation take place in both languages\n\n\n\nIf you have a background in auditing, preferably with a Big Four firm, we consider that particularly interesting.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nTo succeed in this role, you are a confident and down-to-earth professional who enjoys collaboration and building long-term relationships.
