You are responsible for ongoing accounting and lead the work of the accounting assistant team. The role involves close collaboration with the hotel's department heads and management group, where you contribute with follow-up, analysis, and financial support.\nYou report to the Director of Finance and are part of a finance team consisting of six people.\n \n\n \nKey Responsibilities\nLead and quality assure ongoing accounting within the finance department.\nCoordinate the work of the accounting assistant team.\nEnsure correct results for each accounting period.\nConduct monthly follow-ups with department heads.\nPrepare accounting entries in connection with monthly closing.\nResponsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.\nHandle accruals of prepaid expenses.\nPrepare and report VAT and tax returns.\nAssist in the preparation of monthly reports.\nParticipate in internal and external audits.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and local regulations.\nSupport accounts payable functions and income audit as needed.\nParticipate in other tasks within the finance department.\n \nYour Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.\n3\u20135 years of experience as an accounting manager or similar role.\nSolid knowledge of Swedish accounting principles (USALI is a merit).\nExperience from the hotel or restaurant industry is a merit.\nGood communication skills in Swedish and English.\nVery good Excel skills and experience with accounting systems, preferably SAP.\n \nPersonal Attributes\nStructured and thorough.\nIndependent but enjoys working in a team.\nCommunicative and pedagogical.\nProactive and solution-oriented.\n \nWhat We Offer\n \nSheraton Stockholm Hotel is an international and dynamic workplace with a well-known brand.
