From our beginner string groups to advanced level instruction. In the role as violin instructor, work within El Sistema may be included. Then you are warmly welcome to join us!\n\nYour responsibilities include:\n\n\t\u2022 Teach violin both individually and in groups, with a focus on developing students' musical skills.\n\t\u2022 Engage, inspire and motivate children and young people with violin as their main instrument.\n\t\u2022 Contribute to an inclusive, safe and positive learning environment for students from different backgrounds.\n\t\u2022 Plan, conduct and follow up on instruction and music education activities.\n\t\u2022 Participate in activities during school breaks and, if needed, work evenings and weekends.\n\t\u2022 Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical methods.\n\t\u2022 Create a safe and inclusive learning environment characterized by diversity.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for a dedicated violin instructor who wants to inspire children and young people in their musical learning. You need to be confident in your bow technique and have the ability to motivate students at different levels. We would like to see you use a playful and curious approach, perhaps through creative exercises, rhythm, musical improvisation or other inspiring methods that awaken the desire to learn and explore music.\n\nWe are looking for you who have:\n\n\t\u2022 Secondary school education is a requirement. A degree in pedagogy or music is a merit.\n\t\u2022 Have good ability to communicate in Swedish.\n\t\u2022 Demonstrate high professional skill on violin and the ability to inspire and motivate students.\n\t\u2022 Experience teaching violin to students both in groups and individually.\n\t\u2022 Training in the Suzuki method is also a merit.\n\nTo succeed in the role, you are:\n\n\t\u2022 Empathetic and responsive, with the ability to see each student and build safe, trusting relationships.\n\t\u2022 Inspire and motivate students by encouraging joy, development and curiosity in learning.\n\t\u2022 Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to meet each student's individual needs.\n\t\u2022 Well-organized and skilled at planning and organizing to create engaging and well-functioning lessons.\n\nYou must be able to provide a police certificate for work in school or preschool.
