If you enjoy cost-effective, high-quality solutions and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! \nOur team culture is flexible and cooperative with the highest regards for safety and occupational health. \nThis role is based in either Ludvika (Sweden), Mannheim (Germany) or Glasgow (Scotland). \nHow you'll make an impact \nEnsure fire detection and fire protection system designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and HVDC-specific requirements. \nDevelop and maintain requirement specifications, technical documentation, and design deliverables based on customer requirements, industry standards, and local regulations. \nCoordinate technical interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines throughout all project phases, from design and engineering through testing and commissioning. \nProactively identify potential technical challenges, risks, and project constraints, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project execution. \nSupport the onboarding, training, and coaching of new team members and provide technical guidance to customers when required. \nCollaborate closely with colleagues and engineering teams across different functions and geographical locations, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. \nParticipate in regular project meetings, monitor progress, and take timely actions to address technical issues and project needs. \nDevelop fire detection and protection system concepts for HVDC tenders, including identifying required clarifications, assumptions, and deviations for both internal and external stakeholders. \nSupport tender cost estimation and budgeting activities related to fire detection and protection systems. \nPerform technical risk assessments of proposed tender solutions and implement appropriate mitigation measures to ensure robust and compliant designs \nDevelop and maintain Fire Concepts \/ Fire Strategies for buildings and HVDC facilities, translating fire safety objectives into compliant and practical fire protection solutions. \n\nYour Background \nDegree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, Risk Engineering, or a related field. \nKnowledge of fire codes, standards, regulations, and fire safety principles, with the ability to apply them in practical engineering environments. \nExperience with fire modeling, fire simulation tools, or related analytical methods used to assess fire safety and performance requirements. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly. \n\nWe recognize that candidates may have gained relevant expertise through different combinations of education, professional experience, and industry training, and we encourage applicants with transferable skills to apply. \nMore about us  \nWe believe great work thrives in an environment where people feel genuinely supported and fairly rewarded.
