This co-location creates good conditions for close collaboration, knowledge exchange, and comprehensive support to our residents on the path to self-sufficiency.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe Subsistence Support Investigation Unit is located at J\u00e4gargatan 2 G\u00e4vle, our unit consists of approximately 35 employees with various professional titles such as subsistence support case handlers, team coordinators, and administrators.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nDo you want meaningful work where you create security for people in vulnerable situations? Come and help make G\u00e4vle better together with us.\n\nAs a subsistence support case handler, your primary task is to investigate, assess, and make decisions about the right to economic assistance according to the Social Services Act. Your role involves making independent decisions on assistance by correctly and legally soundly applying the legislation. Your work tasks are largely administrative, involving ongoing documentation, calculations, and disbursement of assistance. You conduct qualified investigations of received documents and investigate the right to economic assistance. You meet customers both in person and by phone, providing good service and considerate treatment. You prioritize your work tasks daily and work closely with your team, consisting of subsistence support case handlers, team coordinators, and administrators.\n\nWe at Employment and Support share responsibility for our customers. As a subsistence support case handler, you investigate and assess the right to economic assistance. The other part of our operations, our Change Leaders, work to move customers toward independent living, which can be through studies, work, or other benefits. The goal is for our customers to achieve self-sufficiency and no longer depend on economic assistance.\n\nYou will meet customers in different life situations who need subsistence support, which is society's ultimate safety net.
