You will work with budgeting and monitoring in the department's preschool operations, cultural school, central administration, and student health. You are part of the department's group of economists where you represent your area of responsibility with a focus on the entire Children's and Education Department's mission. You are responsible for reporting, analyzing, and when necessary, writing supporting documentation, materials for investigations, and matters in the department and the Children's and Education Committee.\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone with an academic education as a Certified Economist or another higher education degree that can be assessed as equivalent. We would prefer that you have experience from a similar position.\nYou have good computer skills and thorough knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel. You should have good knowledge of working with accounting and business systems.\nKnowledge of municipal organization and public operations is an asset.
