Here you will have the opportunity to be part of creating an activity where children and young people feel seen, included, and valued.\nAbout Southside Tumba\nSouthside Tumba is a central part of Fryshuset's upcoming recreation activities in Botkyrka and a vibrant meeting place for young people. Here we run both a recreation club for children aged 10-12 and an activity center for young people aged 13-16. Fryshuset takes over the operation of the activity from January 2027.\nThe activity is built on relationships, participation, and young people's own drives. We offer safe environments where children and young people have the opportunity to explore their interests, influence the activities, and develop together with committed adults. Through creative activities, spontaneous meetings, and meaningful community, we want to create hope for the future and positive experiences for young people in Botkyrka.\nYour Role With Us\nAs a recreation leader, you will become an important part of an engaged team that together creates a safe, inclusive, and developmental recreation activity.\nThe role is varied and dynamic. You work closely with children and young people in their everyday lives, build relationships, support their initiatives, and plan activities that contribute to community, development, and participation. At the same time, you are part of developing the activity together with colleagues and management.\n**Your work will include:**\nBuilding safe and positive relationships with children and young people.\nPlanning, conducting, and following up activities for the recreation club and activity center.\nBeing a present adult and role model in the activity.\nStimulating young people's participation and influence over the activity's content.\nGuiding, coaching, and supporting young people in their development.\nWorking actively for inclusion, safety, and good community.\nCollaborating with colleagues, guardians, schools, and other local actors when needed.\nParticipating in activity development, planning, and evaluation of the activity.\nContributing to realizing Fryshuset's values in daily work.\n\n**Who Are You?**\nWe are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people and wants to make a real difference in their lives.\nYou are a positive and relationship-building person who finds it easy to build trust.
